A Prayer List for your Pastor

Scot McKnight recently listed some statistics about pastors that would and probably should be easily converted into a prayer list for your pastor. Scary stuff.

The reality of these difficult things in the life of a pastor is sobering, but considering them specifically as they weigh on OUR shepherd demands action! Nate, as you have prayed through this list for Scott (and the other elders), what practical, immediate, and tangible aid can we offer to insure the well-being of our spiritual leadership? The sense of urgency motivates me, but I am without a plan to implement.

Not to nit pick, but I would actually put prayer first in termms of "practical and immediate" albeit not necessarily tangible. Never underestimate the power of a praying congregation. Besides accountability (which typically takes place among the elders)I'm not sure what else to offer. It is a good question, though.

PS what does lmh stand for?
